Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Spokane, Washington
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 26 weeks
- Floating between units may be required
- Some weekend shifts required
- 48 hours approved
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery experience (1 year)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Active management of laboring patients
- Induction and augmentation of labor
- Management of maternal emergencies
- Antepartum experience
Clinical Experience / Unit Needs
- Labor and Delivery experience with acute care high-risk L&D
- Antepartum experience
- Experience with pre-eclampsia, diabetes, multiples, VBAC/TOLAC, active management of laboring patients, induction/augmentation, and maternal emergencies
Work Environment
- Short-term acute care facility
- Level II Trauma Center
- Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
- Teaching hospital
- Epic charting
