MS/Tele RN

Overview

• Travel/contract registered nurse role in Orangeburg, South Carolina
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift, 3x12 hours: 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Floating within scope is required
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Local candidates are accepted within 60 miles

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS

Schedule and Work Setting

• 1:6 patient ratio
• New unit with 18 beds
• No on-call requirement
• Bedside monitoring includes telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry capability
• Leadership is available off shift, and a house supervisor is available 24/7

Additional Notes

• Community hospital experience is preferred
• Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
• Facility may cancel 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Hurricane season assignments may include emergency response duties from June through November
