Job Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Seattle, Washington
- Start date: 8/31
- Contract length: 20 weeks
- Day shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend
- Floats to all critical care units
- First-timers are not accepted
- Locals are accepted
- On-call is not required
- Block scheduling is not available
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- One completed travel assignment
- 3 years of critical care experience
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (3 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- Critical Care Float experience
- Trauma experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Proficiency in telemetry interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Academic or teaching facility experience
- Ventilator management experience
- IV start experience
- Conscious sedation experience
- Experience with Epic

Schedule Notes
- Must work 2 of the 3 holidays
- RTO must be submitted before facility submission
- Additional RTO will not be granted after an offer is made
- References must be from a direct supervisor, not a charge RN
Screening / Testing
- Telemetry competency testing is required
- Pass/fail testing is required during orientation
- Medication/pharmacology competency exam is required
- Color blind testing is required
- Competency exam is required
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam is required
- Conscious sedation competency exam is required for candidates working GI Lab/Endo and may be required for some ambulatory care sub-specialties
Compliance / Health Requirements
- Mask fit test within 12 months of start
- Tdap within 10 years of start
- TB testing within 90 days of start
- Annual TB questionnaire required
- Flu vaccine or declination required during flu season
- COVID vaccination or declination required for tracking
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity documentation or declination required
- Drug screen required for Aya candidates
- Physical exam is not required by the facility

- Any solid color scrubs; light blue scrubs are also provided on unit
- Onsite parking is available for a fee
