Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER) (Nights)
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a temporary assignment in Phoenix, AZ. The role requires working night shifts in the Emergency Room setting.
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 24 months (2 years) of current Emergency Room (ER) experience.
- Prior travel experience is required.
Licenses & Certifications
- Active Arizona or Compact RN license.
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross certifications including:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NIH Stroke Scale/Score (NIHSS) certification.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
- Flu vaccination (declinations accepted with proper documentation).
- Valid Driver’s License (Note: Candidates with an Arizona home address on their driver’s license will NOT be considered).
Compliance & Documentation
- No hits on Nursys license verification at time of submission.
- Must complete all required learning modules prior to assignment start.
- Skills checklist specific to Emergency Room discipline required.
- Resume must include all facilities, facility size, beds, trauma level, and units worked.
- Must adhere to specific background and compliance requirements.
Assignment Details
- Start date should be on or very soon after the order start date.
- Return to Office (RTO) requests must be less than 7 days and cannot be approved during the first week of assignment or holidays.
- All shifts and departments the nurse is willing to work must be clearly indicated.
- Non-billable hours adjusted to 16 hours per assignment.
- Assignment may be canceled with 7 days written notice without penalty.
