Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry (Days)

Location: Claremont, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary

Job Overview

  • This assignment requires comfort and experience working across three specialties: Medical-Surgical (MS), Telemetry (Tele), and Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
  • The facility is a small, rural hospital with a 25-bed capacity and a 24/7 emergency department.
  • Patient population ranges from newborn to geriatric.
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio typically 5:1, with higher acuity PCU patients at 3:1 or 4:1.
  • Dress code: personal scrubs of any color.
  • Must be able to work independently and "hit the ground running."
  • Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
  • Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of combined experience in PCU, Medical-Surgical, and Telemetry nursing.
  • Experience with cardiac monitoring and basic dysrhythmia testing is required.
  • New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN license valid in New Hampshire (must be uploaded with profile).
  • Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Active American Heart Association ACLS certification.
  • Skills checklists for Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit nursing current within the past year (must be documented).
  • One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment (must be documented).
  • New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate is required for temporary RN staffing (must be uploaded with profile).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous travel nursing experience is highly preferred but not required.
  • Experience working in rural or small facility settings is highly preferred.

Scheduling and Time Off

  • Shift: Days, 12 hours per day.
  • Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and verified at the time of application; no RTO requests will be approved after submission.
  • Up to 5 days or less of RTO may be approved for the full 13-week assignment.
  • No scheduling accommodations such as block scheduling will be approved.

Additional Notes

  • No non-billable orientation overtime or holiday multipliers apply.
  • Call and call-back are not applicable for this assignment.
  • Candidates cannot work this assignment concurrently with another permanent or travel placement.
  • A 48-hour guaranteed time off is not available for this need.
