Overview

Temp assignment in Midland, Michigan
Days shift, 8 hours per day
13-week contract

Role

Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures using ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis
Positions patient and equipment to demonstrate the area being examined
Provides radiation protection for patient and staff during radiation exposures
Adjusts technical factors for appropriate exposure using independent judgment and knowledge of anatomy, disease effects, and radiologic equipment

Required Qualifications

Radiology Technologist (1 year of experience)
Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Permanent address outside the 50-mile local-candidate radius
Work History Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to specialty
2 Supervisory Reference Forms taken within the last two years

Cons

Subpar pay (non-competitive with regional hospitals). Starting pay for a RN is 32.90 per hour in 08/2026. Other area hospitals like covenant and McLaren Bay City start out in the $40+/hr range. Lots of drama with coworkers, but that’s everywhere.
