House Supervisor

Overview

• Location: Wichita, Kansas
• Shift: 19:00 - 07:30
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Employment type: LTA

Role Summary

• Respond to rapid responses, code blue events, and other emergency situations.
• Oversee hospital capacity management and patient throughput.
• Monitor and coordinate staffing levels every four hours.
• Address and resolve patient and family concerns, escalating issues as needed.
• Escalate operational, clinical, and safety concerns to on-call leadership.
• Conduct routine leadership rounds on all units.
• Serve as a clinical and operational resource for staff.
• Maintain an off-hours leadership presence to support hospital operations, staff, patients, and physicians.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kansas.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• House Supervisor experience within the last year.
• 2 years of House Supervisor experience.
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
• Driver's License.
