House Supervisor
Overview
- Location: Wichita, Kansas
- Shift: 19:00 - 07:30
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Employment type: LTA
Role Summary
- Respond to rapid responses, code blue events, and other emergency situations.
- Oversee hospital capacity management and patient throughput.
- Monitor and coordinate staffing levels every four hours.
- Address and resolve patient and family concerns, escalating issues as needed.
- Escalate operational, clinical, and safety concerns to on-call leadership.
- Conduct routine leadership rounds on all units.
- Serve as a clinical and operational resource for staff.
- Maintain an off-hours leadership presence to support hospital operations, staff, patients, and physicians.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- House Supervisor experience within the last year.
- 2 years of House Supervisor experience.
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
- Driver's License.
