Job Description
- Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, managing a wide range of medical and trauma conditions.
- Responsibilities include triaging patients, performing assessments, administering medications, managing critical situations, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and educating patients and families.
- Requires strong critical thinking, communication, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Must comply with healthcare regulations, policies, and patient safety standards.

- TB Test (negative QuantiFERON blood test within 1 year or 2-step skin test)
- Varicella (proof of 2 immunizations, positive titer, or declination)
- Tdap (vaccination within past 10 years or declination)
- Annual TB Questionnaire (required within 6 months of start)
- Fit Test (N95 mask fit test within 1 year prior to start, updated annually)
- Health Statement (signed within 1 year stating ability to work without restrictions)
- Eye Exam & Color Vision (Ishihara Color Test and Snellen Vision test within 1 year)
Required Professional Documentation
- Resume/Profile submission required.
- Criminal Background Check (within 30 days prior to start) including:
- SSN Address Trace report (7 years)
- County criminal searches for all counties lived/worked in last 7 years
- National criminal check including NSO, OFAC, OIG, and SAM
- Education verification (3rd party)
- Employment verification (last 5 years)
- Driving record (if applicable)
- HRIS Form submission required.
- Badge photo (forward facing, well-lit, neutral background, JPEG).

Drug Screening
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start (includes marijuana/THC, PCP, amphetamines, opiates, cocaine, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, methadone, propoxyphene, methaqualone). Positive marijuana/THC results reviewed case-by-case.
