Job Details

• Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Schedule: Weekdays with weekend call required
• Experience Required:

  • Cath Lab
  • Interventional Radiology
  • Electrophysiology
• Licensure:

  • Louisiana State License required
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required
• Certifications Required:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA or ARC only
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA only

Required Credentials & Compliance

• Licenses & Certifications:

  • Active Louisiana state license (primary source verification within 30 days of start)
  • ARRT certification
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
• Health & Immunizations:

  • COVID-19 vaccine or exemption accepted
  • MMR: Proof of 2 immunizations, positive titer, or declination with signed statement
  • Fit Test: N95 mask fit test within 1 year prior to start, updated annually
  • Hepatitis B: Proof of 3 immunizations, positive titer, or declination with signatures
  • Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (10/1 to 4/30), medical/religious exemptions accepted with documentation
  • TB Test: Negative QuantiFERON blood test within 1 year or 2-step skin test; if positive, MD note or treatment proof required
  • Health Statement: Signed within 1 year confirming ability to work without restrictions
  • Varicella: Proof of 2 immunizations, positive titer, or declination with signed statement
  • Tdap: Proof of vaccination within past 10 years or declination with signatures
  • Annual TB Questionnaire: Required within 6 months of start, with evaluation and treatment documentation if positive
• Drug Screening:

  • Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start (includes marijuana/THC, PCP, amphetamines, opiates, cocaine, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, methadone, propoxyphene, methaqualone)
• Background Checks & Verifications:

  • Comprehensive background check including SSN address trace, county and national criminal searches, education and employment verification (last 5 years), driving record
• Competency & Skills:

  • Skills checklist specific to scope of practice within 1 year prior to start, updated annually
  • Competency exam with passing score of 80% or higher within 1 year prior to start
  • Core competencies including HIPAA, patient rights, safety, infection control, elder abuse, cultural diversity, and more, updated annually
• Additional Requirements:

  • Eye Exam & Color Vision Test (Ishihara and Snellen) within 1 year prior to start
  • Badge photo (JPEG, neutral background)
  • Resume/Profile submission required

This position requires a highly qualified Radiology Technologist with specialized experience in cath lab, interventional radiology, and electrophysiology, holding all necessary licenses and certifications, and meeting strict health and compliance standards.
