Job Opportunity: MRI Technologist
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Week 1: Sunday 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Thursday 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Friday 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
- Week 2: Wednesday 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Thursday 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Saturday 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Required Qualifications
License/Certification:
- ARRT certification required for MRI Technologist
- BLS certification (AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted in some locations)
- Valid professional license with primary source verification (MA Conditional Licenses not accepted)
Health and Safety Requirements:
- N95 fit test within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no religious exemptions)
- Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity
- Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30), no exemptions
- TB screening within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test), updated if >6 month break
- Physician health statement within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break
- Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity strongly preferred
- Tdap vaccine within 10 years preferred
- Positive TB test requires documentation of negative chest x-ray
- Respirator Medical Clearance attestation if fit test required
Background and Compliance Checks:
- Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date, including Massachusetts CORI
- National sex offender registry check within 30 days of start and annually
- Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, Medicaid) within 30 days of start and annually
- Social Security Number trace and education verification required
- Submission of 2 recent professional references (minimum 1 supervisor or above)
- Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
- Skills checklist and candidate submission coversheet required for submission
