OR RN Traveler (Day/Night Rotation)
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Rotational shifts available:
- 4x10-hour shifts or 3x12-hour shifts
- Day or night shifts
- Includes weekends
- Example shift times:
- 4x10 Night: 7:00 PM–5:30 AM (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri), 9:00 PM–7:30 AM (Wed)
- 4x10 Day: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri), 9:00 AM–7:30 PM (Wed)
- 3x12 Night: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri), 9:00 PM–9:30 AM (Wed)
- 3x12 Day: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri), 9:00 AM–9:30 PM (Wed)
- When scheduled on weekends, shifts will be 12 hours, with 8 or 10 hour shifts during the same week to meet contracted hours.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, with OR experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Notes
- Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
- All required documentation must be current and updated as specified.
- No religious or medical exemptions allowed for N95 fit testing.
- Fit testing cannot be performed onsite; must be completed prior to start.
- Positive TB test requires documentation of a negative chest x-ray (optional but recommended).
- Background checks include international residence or travel exceeding 30 consecutive days within last 7 years.
This position is ideal for experienced OR RNs comfortable with variable shifts including nights and weekends, who meet comprehensive credentialing and health requirements.
