PACU RN - Nights (36 hrs Mon-Thurs)
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Monday through Thursday
Job Summary
- Registered Nurse in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Straight night shifts, 36 hours per week
- Assignment length: approximately 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- At least 1 year of recent experience in PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity (strongly preferred)
- Tdap vaccination within the last 10 years (preferred)
Additional Notes
- No fit testing can be performed onsite; must be completed prior to assignment start
- TB test must be updated if there is a break in assignment longer than 6 months
- Health statement and criminal background checks must be updated if there is a break longer than 6 months
- Positive TB test requires documentation of a negative chest x-ray after the positive test
- Name change documentation required if legal name differs from credential documentation
