Work Schedule

• 40 hours per week, Day Shift
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Monday, Wednesday & Thursday in Radiology
• Tuesday & Friday in Interventional Radiology (IR)

Unit Description

• Interventional Radiology department performing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.
• Responsibilities include patient preparation, procedural support, conscious sedation, and post-procedure recovery.
• Fast-paced environment with high patient volume.
• Emphasis on teamwork, critical thinking, and compassionate care.

Patient Care Details

• Clinician to patient ratio: 1:1
• Bed count: 358
• Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC
• No floating or rotating shifts required

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 3 years of Interventional Radiology experience
• Interventional Radiology experience within the last year
• Med Surg experience
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
• ED - Emergency Department experience
• Moderate Sedation
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification

Health and Compliance Requirements

• N95 Fit Test within 365 days prior to start date, updated annually (no exemptions)
• Respirator Medical Clearance attestation required if fit test is needed
• Documentation of immunity or vaccination for MMR (measles, mumps, rubella)
• TB test documentation within 3 months of start date, updated if break >6 months
• Physician health statement within 365 days of start date, updated if break >6 months
• Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date, updated if break >6 months
• Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date, updated if break >6 months
• National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start date, updated annually
• Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start date, updated annually
• Education verification of highest level achieved
• Social Security Number trace as part of background check
• Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher in relevant skillset
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission

• Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
• Candidate submission coversheet (current version)
• Confirmation of assignment/POI form upon acceptance and for extensions

Additional Notes

• No prior travel experience required
• No floating or rotating shifts
• Telemetry (Tele) is not part of this role
• No religious or medical exemptions allowed for fit testing

This position is ideal for experienced RNs with a strong background in Med/Surg and Critical Care nursing who are skilled in moderate sedation and IV access, seeking a stable day-shift role in Interventional Radiology.
