Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Ohio
• Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• NBRC
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NRP
• Experience working with Neonate patients
• Driver's License

Clinical Experience / Role Focus

• Neonatal respiratory care in a Level 2 Special Care Nursery
• Mechanical ventilation administration and maintenance
• CPAP administration and maintenance
• Surfactant administration
• High-risk delivery support
• Intubation assist and intubation
• Blood gas sampling, analysis, and interpretation
• Suctioning
• Manual ventilation
• Humidified therapy
• Aerosol therapy, including small volume nebulizers, MDI, DPI, and holding chamber education
• Oxygen delivery via aerosol mask, nasal cannula, and oxygen masks
