Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - ICU (Travel)

Location: Pikeville, Kentucky
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Hours: 48 hours per week guaranteed
• Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday required unless approved time off
• Float Requirements: May float to Med Surg or Cardiac units with lower ratios; may assist as an aide on other units as needed
• On Call/Call Back: Not required
• Patient Ratio: 1:1 or 1:2
• Unit Size: 59 beds in a 340-bed Level II Trauma Center

Required Qualifications

• License: Kentucky or Compact RN License
• Certifications:

  • AHA BLS
  • AHA ACLS
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in ICU specialty
• Trauma Experience: Must have Level I or Level II Trauma experience
• Charting: Experience with Care View or EPIC preferred (training provided onsite)
• Skillset: Level I or Level II ICU skillset required
• Additional Requirements:

  • EKG test required during compliance process
  • COVID-19 vaccine required unless medically or religiously exempt; if exempt, weekly testing at traveler’s expense is required
