Mammography Technician

Job Overview

• Travel assignment in Laurium, Michigan
• Start: ASAP
• Guaranteed hours: 40 per week
• Shift: 8 hours, day shift mainly with possible afternoon start/end times
• May float to another clinic
• Holidays may be required depending on contract length
• Weekends are not typically required for mammography, but may be needed if the candidate has CT experience

Required Qualifications

• Mammography Technologist with 5 years of experience
• Mammography Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT (R) or ARRT (M)
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate degree or certificate

Skills / Experience

• Screening and diagnostic mammograms
• General X-rays
• Good patient care skills
• Good attendance
• Ability to work hard, remain resilient, and adapt to change
• Social/interpersonal communication style preferred

Additional Notes

• Must live outside a 50-mile radius
• Epic familiarity is preferred
• Eligible for low-census unbillable hours
• May be placed on call for low-census hours
• Call-back minimum is 2 hours
• During flu season, anyone declining flu and COVID vaccination must wear a mask at all times
