Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical (Travel)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift Requirements:

  • 12-hour variable shifts (day and night) on a weekly rotation
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week (except during holidays when the unit is closed)
• Weekend/Holiday Requirements:

  • Work 2 out of every 4 weekends
  • Work every other holiday
• On Call/Call Back:

  • May be placed on call during low census
  • Call back minimum of 2 hours
• Float Requirements:

  • Float to like units including Medical-Surgical, Neuro, General Surgery/Ortho, Mental Health, Cardiac

Unit Information

• Medical-Surgical Float Pool covering multiple specialties: MS, Neuro, General Surgery/Ortho, Mental Health, Cardiac
• Charting system: Epic preferred

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Minnesota
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical experience within the last year, including Telemetry experience
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification

• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• 50 mile radius rule applies
• GSA hours not guaranteed during orientation week
• Eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours during contract
