Cath Lab Tech

Location

  • Salinas, California

Schedule

  • Full time, days
  • 40 hours per week
  • 8 hours per day

Assignment Length

  • 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in California
  • Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
  • Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab Technologist experience
  • Graduation from a Radiologic Technology program or a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) program
  • CRT
  • Fluoroscopy
  • ARRT (CI) or RCIS or RCES or CEPS
  • BLS
  • Experience with Epic

Preferred Experience

  • EP experience
  • Structural heart experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with diagnostic fluoroscopic angiographic procedures, coronary and peripheral interventions, and electrophysiology procedures
  • Assist with patient preparation and monitor patients before and after procedures
  • Support equipment maintenance, supply management, and quality improvement activities
  • Operate equipment according to procedure protocols and assist physicians during Cath Lab procedures
  • Use sterile technique, CPR, and emergency equipment as needed
