MRI Technologist - Traveler Position

Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Employment Type: Traveler - Backfill
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Perform quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures under the supervision of a radiologist to ensure accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment.
Participate in teaching and research related to MRI.
Demonstrate active involvement in the department.
Communicate effectively and manage multiple tasks.
Handle difficult or challenging customer interactions and escalate as needed.

Equipment Used:

Philips MRI Scanner
GE Scanner
Epic for EMR
McKesson for imaging

Required Qualifications

Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited Radiology program.
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in MRI (ARRT (R)(MRI)) or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
Minimum 5 years of MRI experience required.
Minimum 1 year of Level I Trauma Hospital experience required.
Experience with Philips MRI equipment required.
Proficient with computers, including basic navigation and email applications.

Additional Information

Dress Code: Red Uniforms
Facility has 7 MRI scanners on campus.
