Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
CVICU (2 years of experience)
CVICU experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

PALS

Additional Details

Charge nurse present and does not take a patient assignment
No nurse aides
Telemetry uses GE monitors
Vents: yes
Hospitalist in house 24/7
RT 24/7
Pharmacy 24/7
Floating may include tele or med-surg units
1 day of unit orientation
Must be available to work 2 of the 3 major holidays
Proctored dysrhythmia test on day one for Telemetry, L/D, Emergency, and Critical Care RNs; pass/fail

Great hospital. Kind and friendly staff.

Cons

The cafeteria is a hit and miss. Some days they have great sea food with saffron rice! Some days microwaved food :D. But there is alwaaaaays, pizza available ;)
