Physical Therapy Assistant Job

Schedule

• Days
• 40 hours per week
• 8 hours per day
• No weekends
• No call

Assignment Details

• 12-week contract
• Inpatient/outpatient mix: approximately 80% inpatient and 20% outpatient
• Float between inpatient and outpatient areas
• May be asked to precept as needed
• Holiday rotation may be required

Required Qualifications

• BLS (AHA)
• Texas license
• National license

Experience

• Inpatient/outpatient experience

Preferred Experience

• Wound care experience

Clinical Setting

• General physical therapy cases, including wounds, orthopedics, neurology, debility, fractures, sports injuries, and some amputations

Additional Notes

• Call-outs are strongly discouraged and may lead to termination
• Copy of driver’s license required at submission to validate legal name
• Candidate name must match a government-issued ID, with no middle initial or middle name
• Candidates who were directly employed by a related facility within the past year are not eligible
• Maroon scrubs required and not provided
• Brief department orientation provided
