Overview

• Travel contract in Washington
• Location: Gig Harbor
• Department: Radiology - General X-Ray
• 13-week contract
• Day shift
• 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• Orientation/education hours are not guaranteed during the first 2 weeks; expect 25+ hours

Required Qualifications

• 2 full years of experience
• Active BLS
• Active ARRT (R)
• License in hand at time of submittal
• Must be able to run a C-ARM for OR cases

Assignment Details

• Covers X-ray in OR, ER, inpatient, and outpatient settings
• Mainly adults; ER pediatric patients only
• Performs fluoro and general X-ray studies, including general OR and ER work
• X-ray department has 1 room, plus 1 fluoro room and portable machines
• Call is occasional, with a 45-minute response time
• Current call rotation is one week every 6 weeks, shared by 3 technologists
• Occasional holiday coverage
• Scrub color/dress code: black pants and any solid-colored scrub top
• Department orientation is approximately 1-2 weeks depending on skill set and EPIC class
• Will train on equipment

Preferred / Additional Notes

• Mix of 10- and 12-hour shifts may occur depending on the contract
• Weekend requirement varies by contract
