Assignment Details

• 13-week contract
• Days, 12-hour shifts, 7a-7p
• 36 hours per week
• Shorter assignments of 6–8 weeks may be considered
• No block scheduling requests
• Travelers should be prepared to work holidays
• Weekend schedule is based on unit needs and demands

Unit

• PCU Nursing Float
• 32 beds
• Float scope includes 4th, 5th, and 6th floor PCU patients
• May also float to MS/Tele and PCU floors

Required Qualifications

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• NIHSS
• WA or Compact RN license

Preferred

• Experience with CAPD (Peritoneal Dialysis)

Clinical Environment

• Ratios: 1:4
• EPIC
• Tele monitors available
• Nurses read strips
• Charge nurse available
• Nurse aides available
• Hospitalist and Intensivist in house 24/7
• IV team available 1100–2300
• RT available 24/7
• Pharmacy available 24/7
• RRT RN 24/7
• Phlebotomy 24/7
• No vents

• Renal failure, acute and chronic
• Respiratory failure/distress

• Pre/post cardiac angiogram

• Pre/post pacemaker
• Pre/post cardiac ablation
• Pre-CABG
