Overview

• Location: The Woodlands, Texas
• Contract length: 12 weeks
• Shift: Days, 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• ACLS
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• AWHONN fetal monitoring
• Must be able to float to mombaby
• Must read their own strips

Unit Details

• L&D unit with 12 L&D beds
• 2 OR suites on the unit for C-sections
• 4 triage beds
• 16 postpartum beds
• 160-200 births per month
• Uses AWHONN guidelines for ratios
• Surgical techs are on the unit
• OB/Neonatologist in house 24/7
• Anesthesia in house 24/7
• RT equipment is available
• No monitor techs

Schedule and Work Expectations

• Modified self-scheduling
• Every other weekend
• Holidays required
• No call or standby requirement
• Floating required
• Unit-specific orientation is provided
• Royal blue scrubs/dress code
