Interventional Cath lab Rad Tech

Overview

Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Cath Lab Rad Tech (ARRT required)
Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Unit details: 7 labs in a 500-bed academic medical center, level 1 trauma

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Nebraska
Cath Lab Technologist (2 years of experience)
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ARRT

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 10-hour shifts
Call required: 2-3 weeknights and 1 full weekend per month

Clinical Responsibilities

Scrub in and manipulate the fluoro table
Operate and assist with percutaneous procedures
Operate and manipulate the manifold
Perform PCI, high risk PCI, CTO, Heart failure, structural, TAVR, and Mitral Clip procedures
Be knowledgeable on supplies and other structural procedures

Training

1.5 weeks of training, including modules and hands-on training in the rooms

Work Environment

Very busy, efficient lab
Goal is to create a more balanced team and balanced work day
