Required Qualifications

• RN license: WA or Compact License
• BLS certification
• 1 year experience
• Telemetry experience

Unit Details

• Patient mix includes CHF, COPD, PNA, General Surgical, and Medical Telemetry
• Ratios: 1:4-6
• Nurse aides: 1:8-16
• Titration of drips: Yes
• Common titratable/set-rate drips include Heparin, Blood, and IV fluids
• Charge Nurse and House Supervisor are both present
• Telemetry is monitored by Monitor Techs, and RNs validate and read strips
• The unit has 16 beds telemetry capable

Schedule and Assignment Details

• Weekend requirement is based on unit needs/demands
• Holiday coverage will be needed for 2026
• No call or standby requirement, except as needed per census
• Floating is possible; all RNs are susceptible to floating within their scope
• Orientation is 3 shifts, coordinated with onboarding
• Scrub color/dress code: Navy top and bottom
