Nursing Contract Opportunity - Scottsbluff, Nebraska

Position Details

  • Specialty: Nursing (Oncology/Infusion)
  • Employment Type: Contract
  • Location: Scottsbluff, Nebraska
  • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

Patient Population & Work Environment

  • Care for oncology patients undergoing chemotherapy and supportive care
  • Other treatments include non-chemotherapy infusions for autoimmune diseases, iron replacement, and blood products
  • Infusion Center has 14 chairs plus a Fast Track area with 3 chairs
  • Staffing based on acuity scale
  • Close collaboration with oncology providers

Requirements & Certifications

  • ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) or ANCC Certification REQUIRED
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) REQUIRED
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) REQUIRED
  • Additional certifications noted: PALS, NRP, ATT (not mandatory)

Performance Expectations

  • The facility operates on Low/Mid/High performer expectations
  • Contracts may be terminated immediately if performance standards are not met
