Neuro PCU Registered Nurse - Progressive Care
Overview
- Location: Fort Myers, Florida
- Shift: 12hr Nights
- Hours per week: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Unit: Neuro PCU, 52-bed unit
- Ratio: 4:1; may be expected to handle 1:4 to 5
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Cardene & Cleviprex
- Ability to read EKG rhythms
Floating
- May float to both sides of the Neuro Floor: stepdown and PCU
- Floating is required and travelers are first to float
- May also float to other sister campuses
Other Important Details
- November start
- Galaxy Blue or White scrubs
- All RTO must be included on submission
- Hard document deadline is Monday prior to start
- No exceptions for pending documents
- Clinical interview and offer process applies
- Radius rule: 50 miles from the perm address
