Overview

• Travel assignment in Waycross, Georgia

• 36 hours per week
• Unit: Medical-Surgical
• Patient ratio: 1:6
• Bed count: 24

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• Med Surg (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• BLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule

• Every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
• 2 weekends per month

Unit Details

• Experience caring for general medical-surgical patients
• Floating may include other medical-surgical units, the ED for medical-surgical holds, or ICU/PCU for medical-surgical level patients
• Standard hospital equipment
• Documentation system: Meditech Expanse
• Bedside shift report and safety rounding are part of patient experience expectations

Dress Code

• Navy blue uniform
