Travel Nurse – Medical Surgical (Med Surg)

Location: Winslow, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each)
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Job Description

• Work in a small rural hospital on the Medical Surgical unit.
• Patient population includes a wide range of diagnoses, with pediatric experience strongly preferred but not required.
• Night shift schedule with at least 2 weekends per month (may vary).
• Ratios range from 1:4 up to 1:6 depending on patient acuity.
• Must be willing to care for patients under COVID rule-out protocols.
• Experience in a small facility setting is helpful.
• Cerner electronic health record experience is preferred.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Experience with advanced life support.

Additional Information

• Hospital housing provided in a nearby modular home (no pets or significant others allowed).
• Start date: July 8.
