Location

• Albany, Georgia

Schedule

• Evening shift
• Typically 4 10-hour shifts per week
• Start times may vary between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM
• Tuesday through Friday, 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification
• Certified MRI Technologist credential through ARRT (MR)
• 1 year of MRI experience
• Experience with Siemens equipment
• Ability to start IVs

Preferred Qualifications

• Philips experience
• Travel experience
• Level II trauma experience

Work Setting and Duties

• MRI imaging including musculoskeletal, basic neuro, abdominal/pelvic, radiation oncology, and breast imaging
• May work with pacer, anesthesia, ICU, and NICU patients
• Department uses 4 scanners, with agency staff covering 2
• Mobile unit may also be covered
• No floating to other areas
• Average volume is about 30 scans per day
• Inpatients and outpatients are seen on weekends
• Majority of MRI readers are remote

Orientation

• 1 to 2 weeks of unit-specific orientation

Additional Notes

• Strict 75-mile radius rule based on the traveler’s driver’s license address to the Albany location
• Weekend work only applies if hired for a weekend shift
• No call or standby requirement
• Black scrubs with a black or gray jacket are required
