Cath Lab RN - Delaware (Lewes)

Job Overview

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) in Cath Lab
• Location: Lewes, Delaware
• Facility size: 175 beds, Level 3 trauma facility
• Cath Lab details: 3 rooms, up to 8 cases per room per day
• Shift: Day shift, 06:30 AM to 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week)
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Job Responsibilities

• Circulate and provide moderate sedation during procedures
• Scrub and assist with cath lab procedures including pacers, ablations, structural and peripheral interventions
• Perform EP procedures such as ablations and PPMs (permanent pacemakers)
• Work exclusively in the Cath Lab (no floating to other units)

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Delaware
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification
• Prior travel nursing experience

Equipment and Systems

• Experience with Boston Scientific, Medtronic, and similar cath lab equipment
• Electronic medical record systems: Cerner and Epic

Call and Scheduling

• Call schedule: Every 4th weekend and 1 weekday per week (from 5:00 PM to 6:30 AM)
• Additional short call 3-4 times per month (5-7 hours)
