Required Qualifications

Valid Pharmacist license in Missouri
Pharmacist (1 year of experience)
Pharmacist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Driver's License
Flu vaccination or Mercy-approved exemption required from November 1 to April 1; declinations are not accepted

Work Setting

Acute care pharmacy
On-site role

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate workflow in the central pharmacy
Verify medication products, including IVs, premade IVs, creams, insulin pens, kits, crash carts, and prepack items
Check that code carts are restocked correctly
Oversee workflow for surrounding pharmacy technicians

Training

Training is expected to last 2–3 weeks, depending on pharmacist capability

Additional Notes

Weekend and call coverage are required as needed by the facility
Float duties are required as needed by the facility
The assignment is very likely to extend beyond 13 weeks if performance is good
