Registered Nurse - Case Management (Travel)

Work Schedule

36 hours per week
Scheduled according to facility policy
Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees

Unit Information

Unit type: Case Management
Number of beds: 350
Patient ratio: 25 patients per 1 nurse
Staff includes Case Managers (CM), Social Workers (SW), and SNF coordinator
Day shift typical staffing example: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters
Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems used: Meditech and Midas

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
Minimum 1 year of Case Management experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Meditech and Midas EMR systems
Previous experience within this healthcare system is a plus

Pros

Cath Lab is REALLY traveler-friendly, they are very accommodating to scheduling requests, stays pretty busy except in summertime because the snowbirds go back up north. There are a few "strong" personalities that can make your days suck if you get on their bad side, but everyone else is pretty great. I extended with no regrets.
