Registered Nurse - Progressive Care (Neurology)
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Shift: Night
Hours per Week: 36
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Job Description
- Must have NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification included in CV packet to be considered.
- Neuro stepdown experience required.
- Strong med/surg nurses with NIHSS, ACLS, and some stepdown experience may also be considered.
- Experience working with neuro stepdown patients is essential.
- EPIC electronic health record experience required.
- No block scheduling; weekends are required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), with at least some experience within the last year
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience in Neurology specialty
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
