Coordinates and delivers patient care using the healthcare team philosophy practice model.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Mississippi
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Cardiac Cath Lab (2 years of experience)
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association

Onboarding Requirements

Mississippi fingerprinting
Skills checklist completed within 1 year prior to start and updated annually
Competency exam with passing score of 80% or higher within 1 year of start
Core competencies with passing score of 80% or higher within 1 year prior to start and updated annually
Criminal background check completed within 30 days prior to start
Drug screen within 30 days prior to start
Badge photo
Contract annual education packet
Eye exam and color vision test within 1 year prior to start
Health statement signed and dated within 1 year of start
TB test
Annual TB questionnaire within 6 months of start

Usually got off on time. Nursing asst. Did the accucks. Vital sign machine was in every patient's room

Cons

Unfriendly staff, minimal team playing. Even though I helped him out whenever I could.It always made me feel uncomfortable to ask for help.Because I always felt like they didn't really want to do it.
