Job Overview

Role Summary

  • Administers radiation therapy to patients according to prescribed treatment plans.
  • Prepares and positions patients, selects anatomic and technical parameters, and maintains detailed treatment records.
  • Maintains and adjusts equipment, including a linear accelerator.
  • Works with the physician and dosimetrist to deliver treatment.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and helps maintain a clean, safe, orderly department.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Radiation Therapist license in Kansas
  • Radiation Therapist (2 years of experience)
  • Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • Driver's License
