Registered Nurse - Special Care Nursery (NICU)

Location: Newton, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

36-hour rotating shifts, 3 shifts of 12 hours each
Shift times: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM and 7:15 PM – 7:15 AM
Rotation based on department needs, not guaranteed
Every other weekend and rotating holidays required

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
Minimum of 1 year of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience, with NICU experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Must complete a self-study orientation and attestation specific to the facility
Confirmation of assignment form required upon acceptance and for any start date changes
Name change documentation required if legal name differs from credential documentation
Positive TB skin test requires negative chest x-ray documentation after positive result

Prior travel experience is not specified as required for this position.
Rotation schedule may vary based on department needs.
All license verifications require primary source verification through NURSYS and Board of Nursing.
