• Shift: Saturday, Sunday, & Monday, Days 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Job Description

The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmitting images to PACS. Strong skills in OB/GYN ultrasound are required. Proficiency with computer systems is necessary.

Required Qualifications

• Current ARDMS or AART certification
• Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound technician experience
• At least 1 year of OB/GYN sonographer experience, with recent OB/GYN sonographer experience within the last year
• Strong proficiency and experience in OB/GYN ultrasound
• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent certification
• Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification required upon hire and must be maintained
• Proficient computer skills

Required Credentials and Compliance (must be current upon onboarding)

• BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• Valid Driver’s License or State ID
• Drug screening (minimum 10-panel test including THC) within 60 days of start
• Annual color-blind test
• COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses plus booster) or completed declination
• Proof of immunity or vaccination for MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza (or declination where allowed), Tdap
• TB test within one year of start date
• Annual respirator fit test
• National criminal background check within one year of start date (state-specific rules apply)
• Employment eligibility verification (Form I-9 or agency attestation)
• Completion of specialty and core competencies exams with a minimum score of 80%
