Role Overview

Travel/Contract RN position in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30.
36 hours per week.
Contract length: 13 weeks.

Unit / Setting

Short Term Acute Care hospital.
Magnet / Teaching / Level III Trauma.
Total staffed beds: 672.
Floating: nurse will float to equal or lesser acute floors.

Schedule / Work Expectations

Weekend requirement: every 3rd weekend.
On-call is not required.
RTO ideally no more than 5 days.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Minnesota.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Post Partum (1 year of experience).
Post Partum experience within the last year.
Primary source verification of license required.
BLS required as applicable.
Tdap required.
Physical exam within 12 months prior to start required.
Negative TB or chest X-ray required.
Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and RespSafety clearance required.
Background check, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, fingerprinting, and Minnesota DHS NetStudy clearance required.
Skills checklist required annually.
Competency exam required.
Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam required.
References: 2 references.
