Overview

• Travel/Contract RN role in Columbus, Ohio
• Based in BMT (14 & 15W James), an Oncology / Mixed acuity PCU and MS unit
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 16 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Oncology (1 year of experience)
• Oncology experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ONS/ONCC
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience in a(n) Inpatient setting
• Telemetry monitoring
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Use of Rapid Response Teams
• Feeding tube care and management
• Blood product administration
• Central line blood draw
• Peripheral line care/management
• PICC line management
• Nasal cannula administration
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Skills / Clinical Experience

• MS/Tele
• Telemetry monitoring
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Use of Rapid Response Teams
• Feeding tube care and management
• Blood product administration
• Central line blood draw
• Peripheral line care/management
• PICC line management
• Nasal cannula administration
• Central line sterile dressing changes
• Chemotherapy administration

Unit Details

• Patient population includes leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, aplastic anemia, amyloidosis, myelodysplastic syndrome, myeloproliferative disorders, and CAR-T / transplant patients
• Special procedures include autologous, syngeneic, and allogeneic transplants, plus CAR-T therapy

• 12D/N rotating contract may schedule days, nights, or both depending on department needs
• Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period and are not guaranteed to remain the same
