Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology Location: Milford, Connecticut Employment Type: Travel/Contract Contract Length: Up to 1 full year (13, 26, or 52 weeks)

Schedule

• Shift: Evening, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• Hours: 5 x 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• Weekends: Rotating every other weekend, with one day off each week to meet weekend requirements

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Connecticut
• ARRT-CT certification
• CT Technologist with 2 years of experience
• CT Technologist experience within the last year
• Experience with Epic

Certifications and Competencies

• ACLS, BLS, and PALS (AHA or ARC only)
• Color blind test with a score of 80% or higher, dated on or after the contract signing
• Skills checklist completed within 12 months of start
• Confirm unit-specific certification requirements in the unit description

Background and Verifications

• 7-year criminal background check within 12 months of start, updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start
• Primary source license verification within 30 days of start
• NURSYS verification within 30 days of start
• Foreign equivalency education evaluation required for internationally educated candidates

Health Requirements

• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• Fit test within 12 months of start, updated annually; must be clean shaven for testing
• TB: negative T-Spot or QuantiFERON Gold within 6 months of start, or two negative PPD tests at least 1 week apart within 12 months (TB questionnaire updated annually)
• 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
• Documented immunity or 2 MMR vaccines for measles, mumps, and rubella
• Hepatitis B, varicella, and other immunity documentation as required
• Flu vaccine or medical/religious exemption required during flu season (09/01 to 03/31); declinations are not allowed; deadline 12/01
• COVID vaccine series preferred
• Tdap highly preferred within 10 years of start (declination accepted)

Training and Attestations

• 21st Century Cures Act module (required for CT Tech)
• Fire safety module, suicide risk and environmental assessment training, and chaperone policy training (for allied staff)
• New employee orientation module, copy due by end of day on start date
• On-site fit testing may be scheduled on the first day of in-person orientation
