Overview

  • Location: Oakland, California

  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Night, 3x12-hour schedule
  • Hours per week: 36
  • Weekend coverage: Intermittent

  • Holidays: Must work 2 of the next 3 major holidays

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in California
  • 2 years of Emergency Department experience (or 18 months from a like facility)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients
  • Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
  • IV vasopressor administration
  • Care of ventilated patients

Preferred Qualifications

  • NIHSS
  • TNCC
