Overview

Location: Oakland, California
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night, 3x12-hour schedule
Hours per week: 36
Weekend coverage: Intermittent
On-call: None
Holidays: Must work 2 of the next 3 major holidays
First-time travelers: Accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
2 years of Emergency Department experience (or 18 months from a like facility)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients
Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
IV vasopressor administration
Care of ventilated patients
