Labor and Delivery RN

Location

Battle Creek, Michigan

Assignment Details

Travel/contract role
26-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
36 hours per week
Holiday coverage is required
No RTO during the first 2 weeks of the contract
Every other weekend required
Floating may include sitter coverage and, when needed and census allows, Bronson Methodist Kalamazoo

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Michigan
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
OB/GYN experience
Maternal - Newborn experience
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
AWHONN Intermediate or NCC C-EFM

Preferred Qualifications

AWHONN Advanced
Scrub experience

15-bed LDRP unit
3 triage bays
2 operating rooms
Provides antepartum, labor and delivery, OR circulating, scrub nurse, newborn care at delivery, couplet care, lab draws, and newborn hearing screens

Additional Notes

Staffing follows AWHONN guidelines
Scrubs are provided
Newborn infant hearing screen training is provided
No call required
