Medical Surgical RN Travel Contract

Location

Dothan, Alabama

Schedule

Day shift, 4x12 hours
7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Block scheduling may be accommodated

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Alabama
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
NIHSS
Proficiency with cardiac drips including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone

Preferred

ACLS

Clinical Expectations

Must be proficient with drips, including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone
Typical patient ratio is 1:6 to 1:7

Unit Details

Orthopedic unit with medical-surgical and telemetry overflow

Additional Notes

Previous permanent staff are not eligible for travel for 10 years
Navy blue scrubs required
