Overview

Travel/Contract role in Memphis, Tennessee
Day shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00–19:00
48 hours per week
Start date: ASAP
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
Driver's License
Must be in compliance with NLC guidelines
No pending license accepted
100-mile radius rule applies; locals are not accepted

Schedule / Assignment Details

Patient ratio: 1:12 using a team nursing model, resulting in about 1:6–7
On-call as needed
Weekend coverage as needed
Block scheduling is not routinely accommodated; weekend block may be considered during interview
All requested time off must be included at submission

Preferred

TNCC preferred for ER, not required

Additional Notes

Short Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center
EPIC questionnaire is required for RNs only
NIH Stroke Certification is required for all RNs at Methodist Healthcare except Le Bonheur Children's Hospital
