OT Home Health - Travel/Contract Position
Location: Riverside, California

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Setting: Home Health
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Day shift, 5x8 hours)
- One weekend day on call required
- Mileage reimbursement between patients at IRS standard rate
- Hours guaranteed if 25 or more patient visits are completed weekly (25 visits = 40 hours)
- COVID exemptions permitted
- Local candidates are welcome
- Home Health experience preferred but not required
- OASIS experience required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
- Experience with OASIS
Health and Safety Requirements
- Physical exam within 12 months of start date
- TDAP vaccine within the past 10 years (declinations not accepted)
- Negative TB test (PPD, QGold, or TSpot) within 1 year; if past positive TB, annual TBQ and chest X-ray within 5 years required
- Proof of immunity or vaccination for Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) for candidates born in 1957 or later; declinations not accepted
- Hepatitis B titer or vaccine series (declination accepted if within 1 year of start)
- Varicella immunity proof or vaccination required; declinations not accepted
- Negative 9-panel drug screen within 1 year of start (instant drug screen acceptable)
- Seasonal flu vaccination/documentation required year-round (declinations accepted)
- COVID-19 vaccination proof or medical/religious exemption required prior to start
Documentation and Compliance
- Two professional references required
- Employment application required for clearance
- Skills checklist required annually
- Passport-style photo (shoulders up, front facing, plain background) required before start
- Personal or auto insurance and auto registration required and must be kept current during assignment
- Must review and sign training content and hand hygiene policy acknowledgments prior to start
