ICU Registered Nurse

Overview

Location: Worcester, Massachusetts
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Unit: Medical ICU
Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 26 weeks
Floating: Required to float to other adult ICUs as needed
Scheduling: Based on unit needs; block schedules are not accommodated
Weekend/holiday: Every other weekend and holiday
RTO: Minimal; 3–5 days preferred

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Experience

First-time travelers are accepted

Additional Notes

Epic charting
Pass/fail testing is required for medication and EKG/dysrhythmia competency, with a minimum score of 80% on the first day of orientation
