Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse – MS/Telemetry Float

Job Description

Float nurse position covering Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units.
Float to medical, surgical, oncology, neuro, renal, and cardiology units within scope.
Float assignments may be pre-assigned or given on shift day via recorded line call-in.
Ratios: 1:5-6 (Days and weekends), 1:6 (Nights).
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule minimum, plus holiday rotation.
Guaranteed minimum of 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
No on-call requirement.
No block scheduling.
Local candidates within 75-mile radius not accepted.
Pending license accepted.
Return to office (RTO) restrictions: No more than 7 days RTO per 13-week contract.
Special equipment training provided: lift devices, ceiling lifts, bladder scanner.
Charting system: EPIC.
Facility type: Short Term Acute Care.
Scrub color: Navy Blue.
Free parking available.

Shift Details

Night shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:45 to 7:15).
Total hours per week: 36.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri.
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience, with experience within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
IV certification.
