Position Details
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday | 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (3 shifts of 12 hours each; 36 hours/week)
- Weekend Requirement: Yes, per unit needs
- On Call Requirement: Yes, per unit needs
- Floating: No floating within or to sister facilities
- Work Environment: Daily outpatient schedule including level III trauma emergency department
- Charting System: Epic
Job Requirements
- MRI Technologist with a minimum of 1.5 years of experience
- MRI Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (MR) certification required
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association required
Required Documentation & Compliance
- Valid Driver’s License/State ID (clear copies front/back)
- E-Verify or Attestation
- Proof of legal name change if applicable
- Background Checks (within 60 days of start):
- 7-year background check including SSN trace, Colorado state checks, education verification, sex offender search, OFAC sanctions list, and others
- Education Verification (3rd party or transcript/diploma)
- State License Verification (Colorado state license required)
- NURSYS Verification (for RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
- Physical Exam (within 1 year, signed by MD, DO, NP, or PA)
- Fit Mask Test (within 12 months, specific mask types required; onsite testing available)
- Immunizations and Titers:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years or signed declination)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray (within 1 year)
- Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunity or vaccination
- Hepatitis B immunity or vaccination series or declination
- Varicella immunity or vaccination
- COVID-19 vaccination proof or signed declination (acceptable vaccines: AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna)
- Drug Testing (within 30 days of start and annually; includes a comprehensive panel)
- Color Blindness Testing: Ishihara exam required prior to start (online testing not accepted)
- References: Two references from the last two years required; one must be from employment within the last year, from a Charge RN, Manager, Supervisor, or above
- Employment History: Verification of last 3 years of employment with explanations for gaps over 30 days
- Skills Checklist: Required annually
- Competency Exams (within 1 year and updated annually):
- Medication/Pharmacology Competency
- Core Parts I, II, III
- OSHA Mandatory Training
- Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency (for ICU, ER, Med/Surg, Tele, Stepdown, PCU, Neuro ICU, etc.)
Additional Notes
- Candidates must be pre-closed on housing prior to submission.
- No floating to sister facilities.
- Compliance with facility-specific training modules within first two weeks of assignment.
- Candidates with employment gaps of 15+ days are considered new and must meet full requirements.
- Maximum 10 RTO days allowed with specific blackout periods in 2026.
- Local candidates living within 75 miles of the facility may have different billing considerations (not included here).
